“I was throwing a pool party and I wanted it to sound like someone was actually running the music — without buying DJ software, learning it, or rebuilding my library somewhere else. I just wanted my YouTube Music playlist to work.”
Afterhours DJ takes the playlist you already have, puts it in an order that makes sense for a party, and fades between songs instead of stopping dead between them. That little gap at the end of every track is what makes a playlist sound like a playlist — kill it and the whole thing feels intentional.
The fades are smooth, nobody touches your phone all night, and nobody asks who is DJing.
